Exhibitions

1963-1964

Over the course of a year, he carries out a photographic essay on the Chapultepec Forest. He also produces one of the first audiovisuals of its time to be widely seen: “Impresiones Cromáticas de Chapultepec” (Chromatic Impressions of Chapultepec).

1966

The Chapultepec audiovisual is presented by Leitz at the International Photographic Fair in New York; he receives his first financial reward for personal photographic work (his first SLR camera with all its lenses).
He is invited by Leitz to exhibit his work at the International Photographic Fair in New York, United States.

1973

He holds his first solo retrospective exhibition (20 years), “Retrospectiva Fotográfica de Pedro Meyer,” at the Nabor Carrillo Gallery in the Mexican-North American Institute of Cultural Relations. Following the exhibition, a catalog is published with an introduction written by Carlos Monsiváis.

1985

Exhibits “Tiempos de América” at the Premio Internazionale di Cultura Citta di Anghiari at the Palazzo Pretorio (April to May). The same exhibition is presented at the Studio Ricerca Aperta in Naples, Italy (April to October).
